Arts and culture are central to what makes New Jersey a special place to live, work, visit, and raise a family. The Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 study reveals that the nonprofit arts and cultural sector is a keystone of our state's economy and reaps huge social benefits. Spending by arts and culture organizations and their patrons drives more than $532 million to our state's economy, employs nearly 10,000 of its residents, and brings over 5.5 million people to local communities for cultural events. In addition to statewide results, you can see impact on a local level for each county that participated in the study.
