Description

Take Control of Your Soundscape

Odio is an ambient soundscape platform that brings a variety of immersive soundscape albums, from tranquil nature sounds to ambient synth pieces, all delivered in spatial audio.

With Odio, you can enhance focus, find deeper relaxation in meditation, drift off to sleep, or simply enjoy a soothing immersive backdrop that replaces the distractions of a noisy environment.

Not only are Odio’s soundscapes in spatial audio, but you can also arrange them to your liking—positioning sounds and loops where they feel most fitting to you.

And with Odio Composer you can create your own spatial soundscapes, using your own audio files. Import audio files from your favorite DAW or record new sounds directly within the app. Arrange them on our spatial soundstage and share your creations with fellow listeners.

Odio is free to download and try, and that’s the best way to experience what it offers firsthand. Since it’s an auditory experience, words can’t fully capture it; you’ll discover its potential by diving in, head (and ears) first.

After exploring a few soundscapes, you’ll have a clearer idea of whether Odio is right for you. Subscriptions are available for $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year, with a one-time purchase option of $59.99 for lifetime access.

Editors’ Choice

Odio strikes a perfect balance between cutting-edge tech and futuristic art. The app employs a mesmerizing mix of spatial audio and head-tracked audio to conjure up its chill AR soundscapes, which can be everything from a rushing forest waterfall to a buzzy digital atmosphere. But you’re no passive listener in these realistic realms: You can manipulate every soundscape within the app through a clever system of sliders that help you reposition sonic elements—like a babbling river, dreamy whale song, or wash of digital static—around your head.

Very cool concept

Really love the concept. This is one of those awsesome apps that I couldn’t even conceive a month ago, but now it just makes perfect sense. Happy to add this to my developer ambiance while I work.

One thing I would love - please add a setting to make it so I can hide the menu button that floats under each sound. Removing visual noise optionally would be amazing - at least hide it unless I’m looking at it or click on it.

Developer Response ,

Thanks so much. Means a whole bunch to us that you enjoy our work.

We’ll take another look at the interface, really solid feedback.

5 Minutes.

I used this app about 5 minutes before writing this review, I did the free trial instantly, putting my AirPods in I didn't know what to expect, I'm not one to download apps with minimal reviews. Though I'm so thankful I did, moving the sound of water back and fourth between each ear gave me goosebumps. All of my favorite songs do that bounce between earphone thing, and now I'm in control of it. This is a pretty enjoyable app, as the free version offers two playlists I think? Which for most normal people would be enough, but if you're someone who music and sounds effects very deeply I highly recommend. I'll be spending hours on this app. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have an okay pair of headphones. The only thing I was disappointed by was that the background image doesn't move with the manipulation of the sound like I assumed, but I understand this is pretty new and that could be something already in the works, who knows. But regardless I'm in love, thank you to the developers!
