Triumph HD 10x42 Binoculars

Get the binocular with the best image quality, ergonomics, and durability in its class. Fully water, fog, and shockproof. Multicoated lenses for edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission you’d expect in binos that cost a lot more. Stow them in your truck, backpack, or go-bag for light-duty glassing. This rugged, HD optical system delivers adjustable eyecups and a diopter for custom, comfortable viewing. Adjust Eyecups & IPD

The eyecups on the Triumph HD binocular twist up and down so any viewer can see the full field and enjoy comfortable viewing—with or without eyeglasses. When not using eyeglasses or sunglasses, keep the eyecups fully extended. For the best viewing when wearing glasses, twist eyecups down.

The interpupillary distance (IPD) is the distance between the center of your left and right pupils. Match the IPD of your eyes and your binocular by rotating the barrels in or out until you see a single image free of shading

Focus Binoculars

Use the center focus and diopter to adjust for vision differences in each eye. Choose an object about 20 yards away and perform this two-step process:

Close your right eye or cover the right objective lens with your hand. Look at the object with your left eye and adjust the center focus dial until the image is in focus.
Close your left eye or cover the left objective lens with your hand and rotate the ring until the object is in focus.

Neck Strap

Attach the padded neck strap in these three simple steps.

Push a few inches of the strap through the strap attachment on the binocular.
Hold the buckle and thread the end of the strap through the buckle.
Adjust the overall length, then pull tight until strap secured within the buckle.

Lens Care

In order to enjoy the best views through your binocular, take time to regularly clean the exterior lenses:

Remove any dust or grit from lenses before wiping. Use a can of pressurized air, soft camel hair brush, or an acrylic optical brush.
Clear lenses of smudges, fingerprints, or eyelash oil. Fog the lenses with your own breath, then use a nonabrasive lens cloth to clean the lenses.

It's been a while since I've purchased a decent pair of binoculars, and these fit the bill! I'm not a "Bino Snob" and don't need the features of a pair of Swarovski $5000 binoculars, I know these don't have the same quality and glass. But hands down these are amazing for the price you pay. Quality built, clear images, easy to use, light weigh but not cheap light weight. The eye cups retract with a twist and easily go between eyeglass wearers and those who don't wear glasses. The only thing to consider is if you're using these for birding and tracking fast moving targets, the 10X42's may have to narrow of a field of vision for some. Otherwise you really can't go wrong with these for an all around general purpose binocular with everything you need and then some, like their no hassle lifetime warranty!

The binoculars perform well with scenery. The diopter was stuck at first and I had to loosen it. The focus adjustment is standard. The lense covers, especially for the larger lense side are going to fall off. There is nothing keeping the one on but a rubber, loop that wraps around the one lense. The other lense at least has an embedded cutout to hold the one rubber, loop holding the cap in place, but any mediocre force will brush these caps off exposing the lense to dust and other elements. The covers are weak. The case is nice that it comes with. The strap is serviceable. The performance is what you would expect from these binoculars. These are not ZEISS or SWAROVSKI but who can afford those, not me! These would probably be ideal for amateur bird watching, taking on a safari, or hiking and want closer views of scenery. The colors are standard, the lense performance is decent in low-light, and these are light enough and small enough to throw in a backpack without the carrying case and just pull them out when needed. I don't regret the purchase but if you are looking for performance, you need to look elsewhere and probably spend much more money. Enjoy!

They have a solid design and feel great to hold. The clarity is wonderful. I can easily see a city block away, even in low light areas. I have not had any issue with the lenses fogging up as I go from cold areas to warm. The ability to really customize how they sit against your eyes is greatly appreciated. The only thing I wish it would do a bit better, is hold that shape. I have to readjust the eye ports after they've been sitting in my duty bag for a while.
