This product is great, it does not need an instruction manual to put together, just a little creativity. There are four ropes because you fold them in half for each side of the swing. I love this product in the neighborhood kids will love it. Both sets of eyes lit up and definitely work with motion detection. it is NOT worth the money to buy it is NOT easy to put together and one of the figures came with 3 quarters of its hair laying in the box ! i have been working on just one of these for an hour and a half still cant get it to balance on the swing right .... it looks cheap because it is cheap im ready to dump it in the garbage ..... DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

NOT happy they both died out on the 4th night! Hoping they just need new batteries BUT come on they shouldn't need replacing so soon. I never hung them on their swings because I did NOT have the patience to do all that work so I used the rope and zip ties to hang them off the corners of my front porch awning. Like I said they were just ok in my book but way overpriced for items that you have to completely put together to hang on swing then both died on 4th night and only on a maximum of 5 hours per night.

Honestly for quickly throwing up decorations, it was fine. But they are very very cheaply made, and the wire and foam used for the arms and legs means you have to keep them covered. The material for the black one was ridiculous (it was just landscaping fabric thrown on). In any case, I used it but wouldn't buy again for sure.
