Sizing is off.
In the first photo The sandals are a size 9.5 and the black Skechers sneaker is a size 9. I can wear the sneakers with no discomfort even though I usually purchase a 9.5 and I prefer a wider style. The second photo shows the sandal with my most comfortable Skechers in a size 9.5 and while the aren’t technically a wide size they are roomier than the black Skechers. But you can see how much shorter the sandal is than a 9.5 sneaker. The sandal measures 10 inches exactly.

These sandals are absolutely wonderful. I bought them in beige too. Very, very comfortable. My toes do seem to fall asleep if I stand, not walk, in them too long. That could just be me. The front strap over the toes doesn't give a lot (but can be stretched) but the other straps are elastic and very adjustable.

Well worth the price for me.

I waited a month or so for delivery of this item (OK... I am patient). I was so happy that it finally came in time for my upcoming Caribbean vacation! It felt like heaven when I tried it. Today, I decided to wear it to my dentist appointment to "break it in". I had it on for about half an hour when my toes started to get very cold as they began to cramp up... there is no way to relieve the tightness of the clasp around the heel to relieve the pressure building around my toes. This could have been easily fixed by extending the velcro heel strap to make it adjustable. What a pity!!!! I cannot recommend this!
