Australian actress Toni Collette shocked fans this week with a video of a snake on a bike that she spotted.

Aussie actress Toni Collette recently enjoyed some time in Europe – but she got a wild welcome home after jetting Down Under.

The Muriel's Wedding star, 51, shared a video on her Instagram stories with her thousands of fans showing an encounter with a snake.

Collette walked past the giant reptile as it wrapped itself around the handlebars of a bike that was leaning up against a tree.

The incredible footage was shared to social media alongside the hit song, Sounds of Then (This is Australia) by GANGGajang.

It remains unclear exactly where the wild encounter took place, but Collette recently jetted back to Australia and is believed to have spent time in Port Macquarie.

Collette recently spent time in Italy, visiting spots in Rome and Puglia.

She's been busy filming Under The Stars in the idyllic destination, with the film co-starring Alex Pettyfer and Andy Garcia.

It's safe to say that Muriel's Wedding launched Collette's career. The actress went on to star in Hollywood blockbusters like Little Miss Sunshine, Knives Out, and About A Boy.

She received an Academy Award nomination for her role in The Hours, and has also starred in many Broadway productions.

It comes after Collette and ex-husband Dave Galafassi announced they were divorcing in 2022 after 19 years of marriage and two children together.

"It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing," the statement read.

The Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner first met Galafassi in 2002 at an album launch for his then-band, Gelbison.
