My 5 Favorite Kart Combinations! (MK7)

Mario Kart 7 brought up a very unique spin for the Mario Kart series: Kart customization! Now, you could make your own kart based on some neat parts and designs! You can make the best looking kart or the fastest one! So today, I'm counting down my 5 favorite kart combinations in MK7, based on design and performance! Characters won't be counted for the stats. Also, I'll make up names for the combinations, because why not. :P

also don't expect any glider variety, I really love the Paraglider lmao

5: Wooden Wagon

Barrel Train + Wood tires + Paraglider

A very solid combo, with fairly balanced stats. I really like the Barrel Train's design, and the wood tires fit perfectly for it.

4: Green Slim

Zucchini + Slim tires + Paraglider

I usually look more for acceleration than speed in my kart combos, but this one's a small exception. The speed and acceleration aren't that far behind, but this one's more for looks than performance. The Zucchini is one of my favorite karts in game. And the slim tires fit almost every kart combo perfectly.

3: Sleek Roller

Standard + Roller + Super Glider

This combo appears in Shy Guy's artwork for the game, but it's a good one! It's the car that better suits the Roller tires for me. It's especially good with small characters.

2: Retro Sponge

Pipe Frame + Sponge + Paraglider

This used to be my main combination some years ago. It looks great and its acceleration is top notch. There's not much else I can say about it really. Just that I used it a lot. :P

1: Super B-Dasher

B-Dasher + Sponge + Paraglider

And now, my favorite of them all and main combination today! The B-Dasher is a very convenient kart in this game, and just now I'm realizing that. :P

It's a perfectly balanced combo with a bit more speed than acceleration, but it's okay.

And the B-Dasher was a great kart in DS. I like how the design's generally unchanged. The Egg 1 is also a favorite of mine but this incarnation looks weird.
