Chainsaw Devil

Howdy! It's been a while.. but I'm back with another art piece. I did say that I didn't want to colour that much anymore but I still ended up colouring this piece.. it's chainsaw man.. or the chainsaw devil or the chainsaw fiend.. whatever it's called. I saw the Reze arc movie trailer... and to celebrate it I decided to finish this drawing. Yes finish. I had tried drawing something similar a year ago... but didn't finish it because ...idk I guess I was lazy. Anyway here's the piece.

So as you guys can see I completely changed the colour of the machinery of the back of the chainsaw head. I did it for the sole reason that ...I was not gonna mix and match colours to match that particular dark blue.. it would've ripped the paper and ruined the drawings..

Around this part I started colouring.. I forgot the Faber Castell has 2 different gradient orange.. a darker and lighter one.. so I decided to instead of going plaine dark orange.. I mixed it up.. giving it that shiny metallic...look?

Just the picture of the finished lineart without the pencil mark underneath.. I had higher hopes it would look better but meh.. I used 05, 03, 01 and 0.05 mm nip outline pen.

This is the one I posted as a sneak peak.. just the lineart over the sketch nothing specific.. used 0.5, and 0.3 mm lead pencils... real handy.

This was where I was doing the wires, they were extremely tedious but in the end... I didn't even need them.. because it was hidden away by the darker colours.. I will never get back those 40 minutes..

Just the sketch. Pencils used are: Pilot 0.5 mm, Graph gear 1000 0.3 mm and a plain faber castell pencil which was 0.5 mm.

The next three are just simple progress pictures of the head of the chainsaw man being finished.. again those wires were stupidly tedious and my brain was malfunctioning because I had no clue what was what...

Here I was trying to do something with squares... but I ultimately trashed it because it looked stupid..

The one on the top is the previous one which I drew and it looks very similar but it was taking so long and the page was lighter so it started ripping so I dumped it until now.

And this is just a short 10 sec clip of the little finishing touches I gave on Ibis paint.

That is all. I gave the info about the items which I used.. I forgot how heavy the sketch book was so sorry about that.. and yeah that pretty much sums it up.

I have an exam coming in 2 more days so wish me luck for that..
