  I have two major gripes with this set. First there aren't very many episodes, it's more like a Star Trek mini series than a full season.
  My second major gripe is the mish mash of the timelines, they're bending over backwards to align Pike's pre-TOS timeline with Disco and Enterprise focusing mainly on Pikes traumatic injury which created The Cage pilot and the Menagerie reboot in TOS. And they lost the look and feel of Pike's Enterprise.
  In addition the Number One character was supposed to be a tough as nails super hot walking passionate computer, they missed on that score also.
