Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla first opened in 1988 as the epitome of barefoot luxury, nestled on Maundays Bay, the island's most beautiful beach. Designed by Californian architect, Oscar Farmer, the hotel was quick to become a jet-set hideaway for Hollywood’s favourites. With Greco-Moorish architecture and serene interiors that perfectly complement the resort’s idyllic Caribbean setting. Today, guests can discover 108 spacious oceanfront rooms, suites, and villas with direct beach access and a personalised 24-hour villa host service. Cap Juluca is synonymous with the ocean and offers guests a variety of soulful sporting activities, from complimentary water sports such as snorkelling and paddle boarding, to swimming with turtles. Guests can savour regional Peruvian cuisine – including fresh ceviche – and creative cocktails at Uchu, while Pimms remains a local institution and one of the most romantic restaurants on the island, serving elevated Anguillan cuisine, Caribbean classics and international specialties. A slice of Venetian glamour is brought to the island at Cip’s, offering a casual Italian menu rich with comfort food in an al fresco setting. The Cap Juluca Spa by Guerlain draws inspiration from Anguilla’s earliest inhabitants, the indigenous Arawak tribe, who celebrated the renewal and rejuvenation of each new day, coupled with the Maison’s savoir-faire.
