Student veterans who have completed their service or interrupted their education to serve, are returning or began their studies elsewhere and are now transferring to Texas A&M University are invited to contact the Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center (VRSC). This office provides caring and personalized support to Aggie undergraduate, graduate, and professional student veterans.

Students requesting Chapter 33 benefits are encouraged to submit their application and supporting documents as soon as possible and by the priority date. All students receiving Post-9/11 GI Bill® tuition and fees education benefits are reminded that under the Isakson & Roe Improvement Act of 2020, overpayments for dropped courses (reduced or terminated enrollment after the start of the semester) will no longer be collected by the VA Veterans Benefits Administration. Instead, funds will be returned to the VA by Texas A&M University, and you may see a balance due on your student account.

Students requesting Chapter 31 benefits are encouraged to submit their application and supporting documents as soon as possible and by the priority date prior to the beginning of the semester. Once approved, a Purchase Order (PO) will be submitted in the Tungsten System, and Student Business Services will apply a conditional credit to the student account.
