Moustapha Thiam, Director of West Africa, Business Development at Infinity Power, participated in a critical session at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) 2024 addressing ‘Financing & Derisking Investment in African Clean Energy Infrastructure’. The session featured other key figures from across the industry and was hosted by GIZ. The session examined the state of energy infrastructure in Africa, strategies for de-risking investments, and improving access to finance. It also provided an overview of the global clean energy infrastructure financing landscape and discussed ways to develop finance architecture to address risks effectively.
