Bernard Kiernan, Chief Investment Officer of Infinity Power, contributed to the session ‘Advancing Renewable Energy Projects for Sustainable Value Chains’ at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) 2024. The discussion, chaired by Jo Sykes, Partner at Trinity International, focused on progressing solar projects across the continent to meet rising demands. Topics covered included the progress of projects discussed in 2023, new projects expected to be launched in the year ahead, hurdles faced across projects, solutions for tackling intermittency issues and emerging procurement structures.
