It's really true when they say every little step counts! Since January this year, we've achieved some incredible milestones: 🌳 Saved over 33,000 trees by choosing bamboo pulp over tree pulp – enough to populate a large city park! 💧 Saved 90,000 liters of water, equivalent to the daily consumption of 300 people. 🚫 Eliminated 37.5 kilograms of plastic, preventing 7,500 plastic bags from being used, thanks to our strict no-plastic policy. We're at 1004 Gourmet, and I couldn't be more excited! It all began with our incredible customers. As a startup, we're fortunate to have direct conversations with our customers, and their insights are invaluable. Recently, one of our regulars shared something really interesting with us: in Korean culture, gifting toilet paper and kitchen rolls symbolizes luck and prosperity for a new home and are gifted as a housewarming present. Intrigued, we reached out to 1004 Gourmet, the top Korean supermarket in the UAE, and sure enough, they confirmed it! A dream collaboration with a homegrown gem deeply rooted in the community.
