Biography

Michael Dickstein joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Economics in July 2015.

Professor Dickstein’s research focuses on industrial organization, health economics and econometrics. In recent work, he has investigated pricing in pharmaceutical markets and the mechanisms through which physicians learn about new treatments.

Prior to joining NYU Stern, Professor Dickstein was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Cowles Foundation at Yale University.

He received his B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University.
