Biography

Dan Gode is a Clinical Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He teaches and consults extensively in the areas of business drivers, financial reporting, data analytics, modeling, and taxation. Dan has been at Stern since 1998 and was voted "Professor of the Year" twice and has been nominated for the award seven times.

His primary research areas include financial analysis, legal liability of firms, valuation, managerial accounting, and performance measurement. Professor Gode has been published in the Review of Accounting Studies, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the Journal of Political Economy.

Dan received his BS in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He received his MS in Information Systems, MS in accounting, and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
