Introduction

The graduate program in Social and Administrative Pharmacy (SAP), offering both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, places strong emphasis on interdisciplinary and comparative knowledge as well as practical applications to health and drug system. It aims to equip students with solid foundation in theory, concepts and tools, and prepare students with ability to acquire and develop new knowledge through conducting research. Admission and Course Details

The program accepts application once a year. The period of application submission* is during February to March. Applicants need to take written examination. Normally, written examination will be provided in first week of April*. Those who pass the written examination will be called for interview.

Application requirements:

  • B.Sc. degree (with honor) in health-related sciences or MS. in SAP or related sciences
  • Working experience is preferred.
  • Have at least 1 publication
  • English proficiency (at least)

    • TOEFL paper-based/ITP 525
    • IELTS 5.5
  • Written examination and interview (required)

Course Details

There are 4 tracks for PhD curriculum:

Applicant with MS background:

  1. Non-coursework PhD track: dissertation 60 credit
  2. Coursework PhD track: course work 12 credit + dissertation 48 credit

Applicant with B.Sc. background:

  1. Non-coursework PhD track: dissertation 60 credit 
  2. Coursework PhD track: course work 24 credit + dissertation 48 credit
