Dave Metzner
Here are a few shots of the finished 1st test shot ProStar. This test shot does not have ProStar logos engraved on the cab and has several parts which are not quite right or missing all together. However after some fixing of a few issues it does build up as a presentable ProStar. I can't say for sure how quickly we'll have the second test shot - there are a couple issues that will take some tooling work in order to resolve them. Stay tuned, I'll try to keep information comming. Thanks, Dave

Bennyg
Hi Dave, I reckon leave the engraving of the ProStar word off. It would be better being a chrome sticker like you get in tamiya kits or even a decal. I used bare metal foil for the lonestar I built but would have preferred decals or chrome stickers. Looks awesome anyway. Also, any other truck brands being considered? A Mack granite or Titan would be a treat. Or any other modern American truck would be good too. Cheers Ben
Repstock
I never build anything newer than the 1977 model year, but I'm going to have one of these. That kit is a must-have.
phoneguy
Excellent buildup and great subject to start some new decals for. Thanks Dave for yet another new tooling.

Ironman63
Awesome! I've already got my scheme picked out for it and the Great Dane trailer! Can't tell you how much it means to me as a modeler when a company keeps you in the loop and has OUTSTANDING customer service to boot! Hessel
When will it be ready for production? I would love to build one. Is the main cab the same as the Lonestar?? That would make a possibility for a day cab one more. Hessel
mackinac359
Did you hear that? The sound of the bat cracking against the ball - the ball soaring across the field and over the stands.. a home run! Tim

Mr. Can Am Garage
Now all it needs is a set of Manitoulin decals.
hooknladderno1
Dave, This is fantastic!!! I to have sooooo many ideas. I know I have stated this before, but a Prostar heavy rescue and water tanker/tender are in my fire department's future!
BigBad
And the bumper pivots too! I have visions of a white daycab with a milk pickup tanker... That is one nice truck model. Edited August 31, 2012 by BigBad
Chuck Most
And the bumper pivots too! Noticed that- first time I saw a 1:1 ProStar with the hood open, I thought it had run into something- no way could the bumper be hanging on at that angle naturally! Then I saw the guy close the hood and the bumper flipped back up.

Ben
Is not Auslowes an older Signature 600 ? It is but I'm pretty sure the ISX and Signature 600 are the same engine.
