King Kong 360 3D was specially shot by Peter Jackson for the Universal Studio tram tour in LA. You can watch it on YouTube but to get the full experience you have to be on the tram tour.
This is a new segment of the tram tour in Universal LA and until we were asked to put our 3D glasses on I forgot about this part being in 3D. The film is only a few minutes long and rather fast and frenetic. It starts off with some dinosaurs and you feel you are being attacked before King Kong shows up. Then another tram (part of the filmed segment) is under attack before a giant spider shows up which always freaks out the little kids and it is up to Kong to save the tram.
I know my kids enjoyed this, it is good to see the whole 360 effect as Kong jumps from one part of the screen to the other side but it is all a blur as it is just too frenzied.
