Oscar Winner Gabriel Axel directed this play for Danmarks Radio twice - in 1954 and 1956. The cast was almost identical both times, only the headwaiters role was played by Sigurd Langberg in 1954 and by Jørn Jeppesen in 1956. 15 years later, Danmarks Radio produced the play again, this time with Karl Stegger and Arthur Jensen in the leading roles.
