Common people are also part of history

This documentary shows Mexican history during the post revolutionary period between 1917 and 1930. It shows how the country changes to become a more modern nation, freedom for women, consolidation of fundamental institutions and a more powerful army allow Mexico to become closer to being a democracy. But it also has to deal with new internal problems such as corruption, violence, and religious prosecution, that threaten this objective.
