We were not able to attend this great performance, but we saw this one on DVD, we were overwhelmed with the performances of these two great new tenors, the scene, the orchestra, all perfect, if you like opera this is a must see, if you did not see the concert you are sure you missed out on a once in a lifetime event, the voice of Marcello Alvarez's voice is only precedented by the voices of Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, Salvatore Licitra's voice is influenced by Enrico Caruso and the late Pavarotti i think. In my opinion these two are the hopes for the this century, not the acclaimed Il Divo or such spin-offs, these are the real in my opinion, the meek shall inherited the earth they say, but these tenors shook the earth in Rome and they are hopefully here to stay and force in voice and marketing!, everybody should here there voices..........
