The Adriatic Express Affair

Season 2 episodes had definitely begun to decline in quality. The acting and the camp had begun to make the show farsical, although the nadir is definitely Season 3. This episode was a major improvement in terms of acting, plot, and believability. It had moments of comedy, but mostly the cast played it seriously. The plot was not so outrageous, and the primary villain was well acted and serious. I especially liked that Ilya and Solo had to rely more on wits than gadgets. My only complaint is how much trouble 2 UNCLE agents had subduing one henchman in the beginning. All in all, I would put this episode among the top of the Season 2 shows.
