Leslie Binns was asked to find a circus to be used for location shots in this episode, When he discovered that all local circuses were on tour in other parts of the country, Binns took three days to build a carnival of his own with its own custom-built Big Top, complete with animals, a merry-go-round, a Ferris wheel and side-show alley.
