In a posh secondary school for girls ,where bourgeois mix with nobles , the headmistress has strict ideas about disipline ; but she's even more afraid of scandal ;that's why she allows a hush-hush love between one of her students and her Romeo who comes at night with a ladder ;but when crying quints are discovered , the fear of scandal prevails over the rebuke ; the babies would be secretly brought up in the school .Eventually the right thing to do prevails ;but for the aristocrat father ,that his beloved son should marry a girl of common birth is a misalliance .Once again ,the fear of scandal prevails and a marriage is in sight. But are their children the true parents of their offspring?
A rather ponderous comedy, with now and then ,a good scene : the best features Jean Carmet ,on a threshold of a brilliant career ,in a chemist ' ,buying feeding-bottles .
