This had-to-find Columbia Color Rhapsody is solidly built for the period, with the simple color design that Charles Mintz' team preferred and a clear aim at the kid's market. Central control was beginning to crumble, with a move towards pure sentimentality in the one-shots that made up Mintz' Technicolor productions, with a hit-or-miss result. While series like Scrappy and Krazy Kat tried for laughs, this one clearly relies on old tropes and will amuse.
