Should have been called "Getting on your nerves!"
Ultra low-budget independent little flick that wants to play like THE INTERVIEW but hasn't the stomach for it.
The idea was sound enough! Have three teenage misfits break into a house and spend the rest of the day there playing VIRGINIA WOOLF. Lets pile on the adolescent angst, the "I hate my parents" routine, throw in a dash of "wish I could have sex one day" etc, and we're a sure thing for an AFI award!
I tend to exaggerate - its not THAT bad and the mainly unknown actors do a job of sorts, its just that one is left with an underwhelming impression of "who cares?" We were ALL teenagers - we remember!
Troy Wellington scripted himself and did a tradesman like job if the truth be known. Cinematography, which really had few opportunities to excel was in the experienced hands of Kim Batterham.
Probably a 6/10 if you want to be generous! Was also known by the rather oddball aka: THINGS AND OTHER STUFF
