The farmer's wife and the pretty boy: A hearty mix of sex and politics in rural Italy
Oh dear, the German distribution company has hit hard again: DAS NIMMERSATTE WEIB is a title that hits the mark and really lured you straight into the dark BAHNHOFSKINO train station cinema. BAHNHOFSKINO was in Germany that kind of cinema that is called GRINDHOUSE in the US.
The buxom Ottavia (Andrea FERREOL) has to take care of the farm and her mentally impaired son alone because her communist husband is traveling with his comrades in the Soviet Union. The bizarre Count (Henning SCHLÜTER, the old superior of the first DER ALTE / THE OLD FOX Siegfried LOWITZ), for whom Ottavia has to work, is also traveling. At the beginning of the 1970s, a neo-fascist movement flared up in Italy (this was also an occasional theme in the Italian crime films of the time). So it happens that one day while urinating in the stable, Ottavia dribbles on a young man named Walter (Andy WARHOL muse Joe DALLESANDRO). The beau turns out not only to be a violent bomber for the fascists, but also a damn good lover who skillfully introduces Ottavia to the pleasure of multiple orgasms. The inconspicuous farmer's wife noticeably blossoms with so much mattress sport (although: there is banging everywhere with the speedy Walter). But that is by no means the end of the story: explosives and some poison pills still cause some unrest in the village...
Only the Italians in the 1970s had something like this to offer: slight hints of soft porn mixed with the political ideologies of the 20th century. Andrea FERREOL and Joe DALLESANDRO show a lot of bare skin, as is usual with both of them. The end of the morality of the flourishing farmer's wife makes us optimistic.
This rarely shown exploitation hit can currently be experienced on streaming service WOW. For all fans of ItaloCINEMA!!!
