Luis Armando Marcano is a screenwriter, director, producer, and actor with 25 years of experience in theater and film.
Theater: He wrote, produced, and directed his first play, V.I.D.A (1997).
Television: He appeared as an actor in the series Zona Y, broadcast by Telemundo Puerto Rico and later by Univision Puerto Rico (2010).
Film:
He wrote and directed the film All For Sara (2014), screened at Caribbean Cinemas in Puerto Rico.
He won second place in the Script Contest at the Puerto Rico Horror Film Fest (2016) for his script The Hot Asopao.
He wrote and directed the short film Ana Julia (2018), which won the Best Editing Award at the MABO 2018 Short Film Festival in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This short was selected for various festivals, including the Lusca Film Fest 2018 and the Rincón International Film Festival 2020, and was broadcast on TV Cortos, as well as internationally on ShortsTV.
He is currently a screenwriter for Lacus Entertainment.
