Justin Yu(I)

Hailing from an extensive martial arts background, Justin Yu began his journey as an A-Team member of the prestigious USA National Wushu Team as well as a member of the renowned 8711 Action Design Team. Since then, he's assembled a resume accumulating over 50 stunt credits and has rapidly climbed the ranks of the action-filmmaking industry.

From his beginnings of performing in ensembles of SAG-Stunt Award nominated blockbusters such as The Wolverine, Baby Driver, Captain America: Civil War, and John Wick, to fight coordinating films that include John Wick: Chapter 2 and F9: The Fast Saga, Justin has traveled the world making his mark as a stuntman. In addition, his versatile mastery of vehicle stunts, martial arts, and action design has earned him opportunities to collaborate as a stunt coordinator with esteemed actors and directors like Keanu Reeves, Vin Diesel, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Chad Stahelski, Justin Lin, JJ Perry, and Ang Lee with the intention of crafting innovative action that aids in executing the overall vision of the directors and their films. He continues to push the boundaries of action filmmaking by creating revolutionary high-level sequences that maintain the lineage of practical stunts and preserves the beauty of the art. Most notably, this can be seen in Murder Mystery 2's historic Guinness World Record winning stunt atop the Eiffel Tower where he served as Supervising Stunt Coordinator.

After a decade of experience in the film industry, Justin recently debuted as a member of the DGA. He has already 2nd unit directed five films under Netflix, Amazon Studios, MGM, and Lionsgate, and within just the first year of doing so, added a second Taurus World Stunt Award to his collection: Best Stunt Coordinator/2nd Unit Director for Netflix's action extravaganza, Dayshift.
