Kazuhiro Sawataishi is a costume designer and character designer. He was born in Japan in 1984 and began his career as a costume designer and character designer in 2005. A feature film he designed, '13 Assassins' was nominated for Asian Film Award for Best Costume Design in 2009.
He is known for his work on 'Crows ZERO 2' (2008), Chen Kaige's 'Caught in the web' (2011), Mo brother's 'Killers' (2012), Keishi Otomo's 'Rurouni Kenshin' series (2012-2014), Sogo Ishii's 'Bitter Honey' (2016), Sion Sono's 'The Whispering Star' (2016), 'Antiporno' (2017), and Giorgio Barber Corsetti's 'The Threepenny Opera' (2018).
