Los Angeles Youth Talent Agent Robin Nassif began her career in Television Casting at Norman Lear's Tandem Productions. Along with partner Marc Hirschfeld, she cast the series Facts of Life, One Day at a Time, Silver Spoons, and Square Pegs. In 1984 she was hired in an executive capacity as Manager of Casting at ABC. A few of the hit shows she supervised and helped cast in that position were Moonlighting, The Wonder Years, Twin Peaks, Growing Pains and Full House.
In 1988 Robin was promoted to Director of Casting for ABC. Over the next eight years, she supervised over 150 pilots including Roseanne, Home Improvement, and Boy Meets World. She set up many showcases for ABC executives to introduce them to the talent of: Kevin James, Tim Allen, Craig Ferguson, Ellen De Generes, Jon Stewart, Will Ferrell, Rosie O' Donnell and Adam Sandler.
In 1997 Robin formed her own independent casting company, Nassif & Baca Casting. Over the next 12 years, she and partner Patrick Baca cast feature films and television including Halloween 8, L.A. Law: The Movie, Strip Mall pilot and series for Comedy Central, Gentle Ben, The Christmas Secret, Stargate: Atlantis, and Kelsey Grammer's Alligator Point pilot for NBC. She headed up reality casting for Columbia Pictures TV placing the leads on many reality shows including Million $ Pyramid and Ripley's Believe It or Not.
Together, Robin and Patrick developed an eye for young, up-and-coming talent and launched the careers of stars Taylor Kinney, Jennifer Coolidge, Natalie Martinez, Ashley Greene, Jamie Alexander, and many others by casting them in their first acting roles.
In 2009 she took a position heading up the Youth Division at Diverse Talent Group. She had 7 test option deals in her first pilot season. She was named Head of the Youth Theatrical department at Media Artists Group in 2011. Robin has placed series regulars on Liv & Maddie, Knight Squad, AP Bio, American Soul, and Ghost Writer as well as many feature films including Long Shot, Always Be My Maybe, La La Land, Spiderman and The Fast & Furious. Her clients are or have recurred on Euphoria, This Is Us, Modern Family, Ray Donovan, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
