There was many a head-turning outfit at last night's American Music Awards. With plenty of sheer gowns and jumpsuits, the audience seemed to fit right in with the performance wear and on-stage costumes. Leave it to host Jennifer Lopez to trump them all. Let's level: she wore 12 outfits in a six-hour span. That's right, TWELVE. Our beloved J.Lo might have caused a crystal shortage with all those sparkly looks, but it was worth it because, naturally, she looked stellar every step of the way. But, in truth, are we really surprised? Check out every single J.Lo look of the night here: Opening the show in a custom DSquared2 fur coat. This sheer black gown by Zuhair Murad had winged sleeves, giving it a feminine superhero vibe.

Perhaps one of her most covered looks of the evening, this light blue gown still totally brings the wow factor.

This barely-there gown is reminiscent of her red dress at this year's Met Gala.

Never one to have too much of a princess moment, this full-skirted Zuhair Murad red gown is sheer enough to show off her lace lingerie underneath.

At one point in the evening, planned or not, this fashionista was forced to face the cameras in her (ultra-chic) bathrobe and towel.

Letting it loose at the—might we add well-deserved—after-party.
