News: 19 hours agoAddison (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Spin: With Addison out due to soreness in his right ankle, Brandon Powell and Jalen Nailor are candidates to see added work behind Justin Jefferson in Week 2. Addison's next chance to play will arrive Sunday, Sept. 22 against the Texans.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Addison had some ups-and-downs in his rookie season. Playing with four different QBs and taking over WR1 responsibilities while Justin Jefferson was out, Addison turned in seven performances with at least 15 fantasy points, third most among rookie wide receivers. Most impressively, his 10 touchdowns were tied for fourth most among all wideouts. Expect those touchdowns to come down with Jefferson fully healthy and Kirk Cousins in Atlanta. While super-talented, Addison is the No. 2 pass-catcher for a journeyman QB at arguably the deepest position in fantasy football, so it's best to view him as a WR4 or WR5 entering draft season.
