The Fenty Beauty founder opted for an XXL double plait ponytail style for the iconic event, pairing the updo with deep 'Rihanna' red lipstick to complement her monochrome scarlet outfit.

Ri's go-to make-up artist, Priscilla Ono, told Allure of the singer's Superbowl look, 'This is such an iconic moment, so we wanted the beauty look to be classic, iconic Rihanna. The inspiration really started from the stage design; it’s the biggest stage in the world, so we took our cue from that, followed by her styling. Styling, hair, skincare/makeup — we all are constantly to working together and with Rihanna to bring the vision to life.'

In a totally unsurprising turn of events Rihanna stole the show at this year's Golden Globes, turning up to the red carpet in a stunning black velvet Schiaparelli gown and dripping in diamonds.
