Natural beauty Liv Tyler keeps it casual in all-black as she lunches with a pal in New York

And while she was just enjoying a leisurely lunch with a girlfriend in New York's West Village on Thursday, Liv Tyler pulled together a casual but chic ensemble.
Keeping it simple in all black, the 38-year-old beauty teamed a silk t-shirt with smart trousers with white piping detail.

The mother-of-two teamed it with suede scalloped edge flats and carried a studded Valentino shoulder bag.
Leaving her brown locks loose and flowing, Liv showed off her flawless complexion and covered up with some stylish sunglasses.
The ladies stopped to chat before they said their goodbyes outside of Liv's beautiful brownstone residence.
Meanwhile, the Leftovers actress shared some snaps from her recent British Vogue photoshoot on Instagram and gushed about the experience.

Alongside an image of her wrapped up in a fur coat perched on the bonnet of a classic Rolls Royce, Liv wrote: 'I did this really special shoot for @britishvogue that I just love . My dear friend kate moss let us shoot in her gorgeous country house and she styled and edited this story.'
She continued: 'It was so much fun for me to let one of my oldest most treasured friends as well as my biggest style icon dress me up and tell me what to do.

Though it's not been confirmed, Liv is thought to be engaged to partner David Gardner.
The couple share a young son Sailor, who they welcomed in February, and each have one other son from a previous relationship.
Liv has 10-year-old son Milo, with ex-husband British rocker Royston Langdon, and David has seven-year-old son Grey from his previous marriage to former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor.
The two are rumored to have become engaged after The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King star has been seen sporting a massive diamond sparkler on her left-ring finger following the birth of their son Sailor.
Liv currently stars on the second season of HBO's The Leftovers, which airs Sundays at 9pm.
