A.A. Milne was born in London in 1882 and became a successful playwright and poet. He based Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet and friends on the real nursery toys of his son Christopher Robin and published the first of their adventures in 1926. Since then, Pooh has become a world-famous bear, and Milne’s stories have been translated into sixty-two languages.

Book was in fab condition, however it's not Spanish. It's in Italian. Granted the two languages have similarities and that would be why I didn't notice until I presented the book to my friends...

Per il racconto in se avrei potuto dare tranquillamente 3 stelle: all'apparenza è solamente una favola per bambini/ragazzi. Ho scelto di dare 5 stelle perché, oltre alla bellezza estetica di questo libricino, chi sa andare al di la delle cose vedrà in questa storia molto più di quello che sembra. Ammetto di non averlo ancora fatto, ma consiglio assieme a questo libro di informarsi bene sull'autore per capire come sono nati i personaggi e la storia di Winnie Puh e Christopher Robin e tutti gli altri amici della foresta che non sono banalmente il frutto di una mente meravigliosa, ma anche di un periodo storico in cui, da quello che so, non tutto andava per il meglio.
