    This book is generally considered difficult but it has helped all my students with accuracy in writing. It's designed for foreign speakers and the advanced and proficiency qualifications but I use it in my gcse and a- level classes and it does wonders for native speakers. It develops a good language bank for students and it frees up their expression and writing skills. As opposed to a lot of language study books, once a student has completed the exercises it is impossible not to have a much improved level of English.

    Como estudiante para el CAE encuentro este libro realmente útil. Incluye un montón de ejercicios, nada aburridos, en los que aprendes collocations, phrasal verbs y por supuesto, el correcto uso de la gramática más avanzada.

    Además incluye un montón de ejercicio de repaso al final de cada lección. Las lecciones, por su parte, están dividas en secciones, de forma que puedes ir trabajando al ritmo que tú desees. De otro lado, encuentro realmente fantásticos los consejos y comentarios que incluye en pequeñas "advice boxes" y la facilidad con la que puedes auto-corregirte sencillamente mirando las soluciones al final.

    Como comentario final, al que esté pensando en comprarlo solo le puedo añadir dos cosas: el libro es de una extensión considerable, con lo que realmente será una piedra angular en el estudio del inglés (al contrario que muchos otros libros de Cambridge oficiales, que pecan de banalidad y poca extensión), y la editorial (Longman) se ha ganado una reputación en la enseñanza del inglés por libros como éste.

    100% recomendado.
