- Reviewed in Canada on December 9, 2022Verified PurchaseThis is a great book and one I know I'll use for years to come. I was hesitant as to buy this edition or the previous one, as there weren't a lot of reviews for this newer edition, but I'm glad I bought it. I'm not sure how it compares to previous editions thought.
I included pictures with a ruler in centimeters for scale. The book is printed in colors and in high definition. It's easy to identify different muscles, bones, ligaments, etc. based on the beautiful and detailed images. You might have to look up close to differentiate certain details, because there's just so many. The information included is extensive while still being concise. The aid of legends and images make for informative content while still being not too wordy.
If you are looking to step up your fitness and to learn about the mechanics of the human body, this is it!

- Reviewed in Canada on December 12, 2023Verified PurchaseI started going again to the gym and I wanted to spend a few months doing a beginners kind of workout before I get one from a trainer. This is an excellent book because it lists a lot of common and basic exercises and specifies the muscle groups for which they are intended.
I was hesitant at first to buy a used book but when it arrived, I was very happy to see that it was an excellent condition.
Recommendations.
- Buy this book to help regarding the gym
- Don’t be hesitant to buy a used book, I was pleasantly surprised with the great quality

- Reviewed in Canada on December 5, 2023Verified PurchaseGreat book ! If u train or are into any sport I highly recommend getting this.
The delivery person didint knock they just left it on my steps in the rain and it was in one of those Amazon envelopes
So the book was all warped
But they sent me a new one immediately
No matter how long I have been training for I think this is a amazing tool for advanced or beginner athletes
- Reviewed in Canada on November 6, 2023Verified PurchaseThe book, it is beautifully designed with detailed pictures. It also has colour coded page borders for pages talking about injuries and a different colour for pages talking about stretching.
Well written and with a lot of technical information, which can be daunting to understand because names of muscles are in latin.
Every page is like an encyclopedia of muscles.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 25, 2023Verified PurchaseI injured myself running, nothing serious to visit a doctor, but nagging enough that I wanted to know where and what was the injury. I got this book initially to help with weights training specific muscles, but I've actually used it more to pinpoint muscle aches and pains and how to relieve the pain. Very detailed pictures and very informative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Otimo também para desenhistas
