Shorebirds dominate game three of the series
SALISBURY, Md. – The Shorebirds shutout Carolina, 8-0, Thursday night at Perdue Stadium.
The Shorebirds started off the scoring in the second inning as Elis Cuevas hit a sacrifice fly to center field, deep enough to score Miguel Rodriguez.
Ryan Stafford was off and running on a pitch in the fourth inning, the pitch going to the backstop allowing Stafford to walk home standing up.
Angel Tejada, and Braylin Tavera each recorded RBI as the home team continued to add on insurance runs.
Starting pitcher Braxton Bragg went six scoreless innings to secure the win.
The Shorebirds will play the Mudcats in the fourth game of this series Friday night at 7:05 pm.
