I donated an edition 2/4 of my large-scale framed photograph print, Dendrofemonology: A Feminist History Tree Ring. This edition follows the first print featured at the de Young Museum and captures the sculpture that was installed on the National Mall in D.C. and Madison Square Park for the Mobilization for Women’s Rights and the Planet. The sculpture is currently on view at Nancy Hoffman Gallery in Chelsea, NYC as part of my YOU ARE HERE solo exhibition until Oct 19th.

Honored by Newsweek as one of the "Women Shaping the 21st Century," Tiffany Shlain is an multidisciplinary artist, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, national bestselling author, and the founder of the Webby Awards. Working across mediums, from sculptures, films, to performance, Shlain's work explores ideas in feminism, philosophy, technology, neuroscience, and nature. Her work has been shown at The Museum of Modern Art in New York and her sculpture DENDROFEMONOLOGY, A Feminist History Tree Ring, was installed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. last fall, and was in Madison Square Park in NYC for a Mobilization for Women's Rights and the Planet, to kick off Climate Week. The Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York currently is showing her solo exhibition You Are Here which both Artnet and Artforum listed on their "must-see" list and runs until Oct 19th. ​Opening in LA October 17th, Shlain has a joint exhibition with Ken Goldberg for the Getty Museum's Pacific Standard Time: Art & Science Collide art event Ancient Wisdom for A Future Ecology: Trees, Time & Technology at the Skirball Cultural Center. Tiffany and Ken are co-founders of The Association of Free Association. Her awards and distinctions include selection by the Albert Einstein Foundation for their Genius100 list, the Neil Postman Award for Career Achievement in Intellectual Activity, and inclusion in NPR’s list of best commencement speeches. Shlain is known for her dynamic cinematic talk experiences and performs internationally. Her films have had multiple premieres at the Sundance Film Festival, received over 60 awards, and have been shown at US embassies globally. Shlain’s national bestselling book, 24/6: Giving up Screens One Day a Week to Get More Time, Creativity, and Connection, received the Marshall McLuhan Outstanding Book Award. Her recent film on neuroscience The Teen Brain was just released and is executive produced by Goldie Hawn and the MindUP program. She has been writing a monthly newsletter Breakfast @ Tiffany's for over 27 years. @tiffanyshlain
