CBC article about our digital art exhibition!

We have been working with the Mackenzie Art Gallery since 2021 to develop tools to help curators put on digital art exhibitions. The latest project coming from that initiative is Wake Windows: the Witching Hour; an extremely unique experience curated by Rea McNamara.

Chris Hampton over at the CBC wrote about the artists involved in that project, you can read all about it here!

And if it is before August 11 2024, you can still experience the exhibition here:

Dispatch from the Halifax Art Book Fair!

Wonderful video courtesy of Adam Hartling

We had a really awesome time at the Halifax Art Book Fair! It was our first time tabling at an event like this. We showed a lot of folks our games and sold quite a few prints, zines and posters.

If you join our patreon, you get all of our prints hot of the press for just $5. The patreon is a great way for us to produce a consistent amount of art, and it was a blast to see all that laid out on the table.

If you joined recently and have not received the past prints, we are hoping to set up an online store where you could purchase our wares, I’ll keep you updated on that 🙂

We will be doing more tabling like this in the future, can’t wait to see you there.

Critic’s Choice Award at Milan Machinima Festival

Last month we had the pleasure of attending the Milan Machinima Festival in Italy. Curators Matteo Bittanti and Marco De Mutiis selected an extremely compelling line up of artists & scholars working at the cutting edge of videogame film & photography. It was so inspiring!

We would have said our time in Milan was great regardless, because of the pizza, gelato, sunshine, and cathedrals – but it was so nice to get an award for our film, Crowd Control!

Check out our artist talk

We had a great time speaking to the attendees of the conference/festival – it was nice to get the chance to talk about our Assassin’s Creed Art History work in the context of machinima and Video Game Essays. You can watch it FOR FREE on our Patreon!
