PROS: I love that Workfront is easy to use. I can create custom forms and fields that help me to track important metrics. We have used the app to develop a thorough workflow that extends from client request for scoping to post-project reporting. To top it all, the vendor offers top rate customer support.
CONS: The one feature I would like to see improved is reporting using charts. Currently, I export reports to Excel to generate the charts I need.

PROS: With Workfront we can organize our entire foundation, we can filter requests and get information of how many requests each department is getting. We can assign tasks and requests so we don’t have to send it via emails and to comunicate through emails back and forth. We use emails for outside support instead of as a tool for internal communications.
CONS: Sometimes we lost requests in the shuffle and forget to update some tasks. At the beginning I couldn’t understand how this tool worked but once I learned it I cannot imagine my workday without it.

PROS: I appreciate that Workfront has improved project flow and communication, and offers a high level of visibility into projects across our non-profit organization.
CONS: Different units in our organizations use different instances of Workfront which do not communicate with each other. We would gain a lot if they could. To be fair, we know the vendor is working to facilitate this.

PROS: I like the fact that Workfront offers integrated views of all active projects. This makes it easy to see available resources and is more effective than holding meetings for the purpose.
CONS: Beginners can find it difficult to learn to use the software. Because of this, employees who are merely reviewing, approving, or submitting requests do not like the extra work needed to learn to use the system.

PROS: The user interface is excellent and comparable to popular social networks. It is easy to learn and use the app. Our business has gained a lot as Workfront offer a single, easily accessible system that contains all information about portfolios and projects.
CONS: The main drawback is you only have limited ability to customize the software. Looking on the brighter side, this could even be a benefit as otherwise the software can become too complex. Another grouse I have is the vendor’s development team is slow to respond to minor issues.

PROS: I think the best part about Workfront is the vendor is constantly improving the product. I really like the regular updates they send informing users about the improvements.
CONS: However, the constant changes can also have a detrimental effect. Sometimes, a change made to the product can affect a feature that we use a lot.

PROS: I really like the template function for projects. We can use the readymade templates for our projects and teams. This saves us plenty of time as we do not have to set up projects from the beginning.
CONS: We had a major issue with the hour/date feature on projects. The feature had a few bugs and when we changed a few dates on a project it would affect others which meant we had to start from scratch again. I do not know if other users also have this experience with this feature.

PROS: I like that Workfront offers many excellent features. It gives full visibility on work progress. The app is easily customizable and users can view custom dashboards based on their permission level and role. The Proof HQ feature helps to organize comments in a single place. You can find projects quickly and report on project status easily. Finally, all creatives are housed in a single location which makes it easy for anyone to find edits and projects.
CONS: Sometimes, system updates can create a bug that affects the performance of Workfront. But to be fair, whenever this occurs, the tech support team responds promptly and resolves the issue quickly.

PROS: Workfront has two calendar view, it allows you to keep track of your tasks and to change the order on priority or due date. You can check calendar view in order to see the upcoming weeks. And what’s more, this system makes everything well-organized and under control.
CONS: If I want to upload a document I have to click few times, they could make it more simple.

PROS: I like Workfront because of its usability and UI, it makes everything simple and easy. It doesn’t require multiple steps to do something. It is configurable tool and we can leverage the functionality and use the product in various ways so it can be useful to every department. The product can be used by almost everyone, it doesn’t require management skills or have special certifications or some extensive trainings so they can use the product.
CONS: The only dislike I have about it is that we are not satisfied with the account reps because every 6 months we have new rep and we struggle of working with someone new because we is not familiar with our business and our goals and needs. On the other side, we are using this product since 2009 and we haven’t run into major issue with this system, the tech support team is wonderful.

PROS: I like that the software offers plenty of customizable options through the custom form functionality. We are able to easily make changes based on the different requirements of our customers.
CONS: The search feature could be improved. Sometimes it is difficult to find documents because you are not sure about the level of detail needed for a search. Plus, it throws up inconsistent results.

PROS: Workfront offers many useful features. It is ideal for Agile development. You can use it for time keeping and financial tracking. Other top features are Gantt/task list, business case with alignment scorecard, social update feed, drill down capabilities, and burn charts. The system offers a reliable and solid book of record for all portfolios, programs, and projects.
CONS: Resource planning and portfolio view features need improvement. The system is focused more at the project level and less at the portfolio and program level.

PROS: Workfront is a single application that we use now to manage our projects and campaigns, and it has replaced different software systems that we were using for different tasks.
CONS: Some features like improving MS Project files do not function well. It would be great to have an Undo button as I want to see the effect of changes in project plans before confirming them.

PROS: This software for streamlining communication, real-time reports, quality control and automated issue tracking features. We can integrate it with other systems like development and financial systems, to increase our connected solutions and to provide benefits to future phases.
CONS: We had some issues with Workfron and we needed some additional options so it can meet all our needs and they work on providing us with what we need, also they keep the on going collaboration with our agency.

PROS: I’m using Workfront on a daily basis, it is reliable product and it offers great features. Our project management team uses the product to assign due dates, collaborating on tasks, they can keep track of time. It allows us to view reports and to see how much time specific task took so we can manage other operations efficiently. We get notification when our co-worker tagged us or when pending task becomes available.
CONS: I get too much email notifications so I had to set up a filter on Outlook in order to move lot of Workfront emails to a folder so I can keep my inbox organized and clean.

PROS: I think Workfront is excellent for work and resource management. You can easily track all aspects of all projects. The interface is intuitive and you can communicate easily by using commenting features that are similar to popular social media channels. The app can be effectively used by team members based in different countries and office locations.
CONS: The flexibility of Workfront can be a drawback as it can make the app complex to use. Plus, there are multiple ways to reach the same place, so it is important that you set up uniform working practices for all the team members to ensure the platform is used effectively.

PROS: I like Workfront interface and simplicity of the program. It provides lot of features, basic tools and lot of functionality compared to Basecamp or other similar tool. It has great list of features and it keeps the user experiences together. I personally like the reporting feature. The software requires training and practice so you can create solid reports but once you are used to it everything becomes fun and easy.
CONS: Eventhough they are constantly improving the docs section of this system but they still haven’t fixed the issue with the folders and subfolders they still make chaos. When PM wants to set up the folders at the project level they do not roll down to the task level and create mismatch of files everywhere. It lack organization capabilities, but I believe they would fix this soon.

PROS: We use Workfront for couple of months and it provides us with great visibility of our projects and it helps us to realize how our existing processes are going. We use reports and analytics so we can better understand which areas need improvements. We look forward to use other Workfront’s features.
CONS: We are bringing on a full-time project management coordinator so he can help us with Workfront management. You will get own system admin and project management resources ready to support it.

PROS: This product allows me to share and delegate tasks, to upload and share task-related information with other team and team members.
CONS: I don’t like that this tool notifies me of every single comment by same user on same proof and instead to get email notification when the user has finished with marking up a proof, thus, I can know when to begin apply the changes.

PROS: All our projects are going through Workfront. I like the reporting features and dashboards. It allows us to pull data and to better organize our projects, tasks and work hours. It offers great training programs and you can even take advantage of their online classes. I like their live classes because whenever I have some question I can jump on a class and ask for their assitance.
CONS: There are limitations with the support tools for maintaining customer escalations.

PROS: Workfront offers task-level and project-level views of a company’s entire work. The user interface is intuitive and simple to use. The tech support is top notch. You can use the dashboard views and reporting to learn about progress against goals. We have used Workfront to track and organize workflows for thousands of projects and it is a much better alternative to Microsoft Access for this task.
CONS: Right now, employees have to use formal comments to communicate with each other. Instead, I wish there was a live chat feature for employees to chat with each other.
