Overbury lies at the foot of Bredon Hill, and Overbury Cricket Club (founded in 1886) has played an important part in village life ever since. In recent times huge improvements have been made to the beautiful ground and facilities, including a new pavilion, covers and practice nets. We are always looking for new players at all levels as well as welcoming new social members.

In 2024 the Saturday XI are playing in the Cotswold Hills League 4th Division. The Sunday XI also have a full season of fixtures plus there are a number of midweek friendly T20 matches catering for all standards. Senior outdoor training is Tuesdays 6.00pm from early April.

Junior cricket has been an important part of Overbury CC for over 30 years. In 2024 we are running junior teams at U11, U13 and U15 level. Training for U11s is on Friday evenings 6.30-8.00pm and matches are Sunday mornings. Under 13s and Under 15s train together on Thursdays 6.30pm and play matches on Tuesday evenings. We also run ECB All Stars (5-7 years) and the ECB Dynamos Programme (7-9 years) from May - July. Please get in touch at [email protected] for more info.
