I've promised you a post at the beginning of the week, but the working and final touches took more time than expected…. sorry !!! lying the letters made more simple and fast the selection of the proper yarns for borders… …. and for the ribbons…. …. to wrap around metallic hangers… Each time one hanger was ready ( the glue had to dry properly), I attached one letter to it using the "join-as-you-go" method… Few days ago all the letters were ready… …. and they were patiently waiting for the right moment to be hanged at the entrance wall…. …. so, this morning, I kindly asked my husband to hammer some nails in the wall…. …the light was not yet good to take quality pictures, but I didn't want to wait anymore!!!! …. just to give you an idea of their dimensions…. …. some pompoms and a "!" were mandatory….. …. Another look ???? !!!!!!! This project was really simple : ...

…..Oh yeah!!!!! The  adult size slouchy hat  is ready to put on…. I've crocheted this hat with a 5mm hook, but for the hatband I changed the hook to a 3,5mm! The yarn used are : Katia Merino Blend (55% merino wool and 45% acrylic) and Katia Kiss, for the pompom and the edge. The last letter for my wall sign (as a decor to put at the entrance of our home) is completed, too… ….. next week these letters will be hanging on the intended wall and I'll show you with the "right" amount of pics!!!! ;oD xxxx Alessandra Today link party :  Pin it Thursday!  see you there, too!!! thanks, xxxx

1 ) I've added a new crocheted granny letter to my new project (see  here  and  here  !!!!) : another "L"…. 2) This morning my 2 boys went to school not in uniform, but with some afro wigs and fake moustaches to celebrate  Movember  …. ….nice dudes, right? ;oD 3) This : Chantal, the lovely hostess of  HaakBrei-n , made a christmas tree following my  last tutorial  !!!! How cute is that? Thank you Chantal to let me know about your project : it made me feel so happy !!!! ;oD You can have a look  here  to see what Chantal made!!! …  This project  is going on!!! In fact, I've just completed 2 more letters… … "E"… ….. and "L"…. …. so that, with the "H"…. …. we can start to read something…. … !!!!!!!!!!!! …… ;oD Crazy idea : imagine a "SCARABEO" with crocheted letters……!!!!!!! Wonderful, I say, but quite complicated, I must add!!!!!
