The COVID-19 food truck adventure continues this week with Papi Churro. Papi Churro is a locally owned & family operated mobile churro business currently serving Fresno County. A churro is a type of fried dough from Spanish and Portuguese cuisine.

Our total came to $8.

Cinnamon Roll Shack

Cinnamon Roll Shack

Our COVID-19 tour of Fresno food trucks continues with the Cinnamon Roll Shack.

The Cinnamon Roll Shack is a Fresno area food truck specializing in cinnamon rolls and sweet items made with cinnamon roll dough.

We ordered a cinnamon sugar pretzel and a walnut cinnamon roll with icing. The pretzel is made with the soft cinnamon roll dough and covered with sugar so don't expect a chewy pretzel. The cinnamon roll was everything you expect in a cinnamon roll, warm, sweet, soft, and flavored with cinnamon.  The baking is done on the truck so everything is fresh.

You can locate the Cinnamon Roll Shack on Facebook or Instagram. They show up numerous popular food truck venues in the area.

Our two items came to a total of $11.50.

Apple Fritter and Chocolate Frosted Doughnut. The doughnuts are traditional and good. The items such as apple fritters are fusion cuisine: the traditional American fritter is very apple-y, and this incarnation is less apple-y and more sweetish.

Cuerno, Spanish for Bull’s Horn (the bright pink is for color only and has no taste)

Nube ("Cloud") - This sweet is fluffy and white inside.

Twist - crunchy and sweet (the color is to please the eye and has not taste)

Empinada de Calabaza (Pumpkin).

Pumpkin Inside. The pumpkin filling is not sweetish like American pumpkin pie filling is but pumpkin-y and flavorful.

We ordered nine items including a Bolillo. The total came to $9.80.
