I get asked a lot of questions about my services, and website project process. I have collated some of the most common questions that I get asked.
Do you work with small businesses who need a basic website?
These types of projects generally aren't a good fit for what I offer. I can however make a trusted recommendation for a Web agency or another freelance web developer for you to work with, whether that be a Laravel Developer Brisbane, or PHP Developer Australia and internationally. If you own or work for a company that's considered in the mid to large-sized range, you're a well-suited client for my freelance web development business.
How much do your freelance web development services cost?
It really depends on the requirements for the Web Development project - this is typically determined based on the technologies and platforms involved, the project size, and complexity. My rate is however higher than your average Freelance Web Developer due to my experience and knowledge of the web development space. An estimate of cost will be provided based on the scope of works required for the project before any work commences. It is important to consider that while my rate may be higher than most freelance web developers, I hold a lot of knowledge and expertise and my quality of work is at an international level.
How are freelance web developers different from web design agencies?
The difference between an experienced Freelance Web Developer and a Web Design Agency is that you are working directly with the person doing your work - I am a specialist in my field of web development, and can provide you with direct technical and business feedback based on your requests, whereas Digital Agencies all questions must go through communications people who you're paying for, just to receive filtered answers from the developer themselves. Freelance Web Developers tend to also have fewer clients than what an account manager or Web Design Agency has, so you will receive fast communication and quality work. You will find that the agency business model is to work on straight-forward projects that are profitable, and whilst they offer a "full-service" approach to their services, they are not experts in all areas and you will find that they generally employ intermediates and juniors to complete the majority of work, with seniors overseeing or reviewing.
Do you also work with clients that are based outside of Brisbane and Australia?
Whilst I am known for being a Brisbane-based Freelance Web Developer, I do also regularly work with clients throughout Australia, namely Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, and also globally. I can work with customers in the UK, the US, Canada, and many other countries. So yes, I'm a Freelance Web Developer in Brisbane, but I operate internationally.
Do you offer any other services besides web development, such as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) or Digital Marketing?
No, I am a specialist in the field of web development. I specialise specifically in Laravel Development, PHP Development, Custom Web Applications, API & ERP Integrations, and Content Management System (CMS) websites (using platforms such as Wordpress and Statamic). To ensure that I only provide quality work that I am experienced in, I don't offer any other services such as SEO or Digital Marketing. I can however make a trusted recommendation for a Web agency, Digital agency, Advertising agency, or another freelance specialist for you to work with, whether that be a Digital Marketing Specialist, or SEO Consultant in Australia and internationally.
