Chengqi "John" Guo 郭琤祺
Dr. Guo has published papers on cross-cultural IT, internal security threats, social media, e-commerce, healthcare IT adoption and pedagogical innovation. His articles have appeared in academic journals including: Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Promotion Management, International Journal of Accounting Information Management, International Journal of Health Information Systems and Informatics, Decision Science Journal of Innovative Education, Journal of Organizational Culture, Communications and Conflict, Journal of Faculty Development. He has also written a book - The Business of Criminal Justice: A Guide for Theory and Practice (Taylor & Francis Group, 2011) and book chapters. Dr. Guo was a Madison Research Fellow at James Madison University where he participated in various cross-discipline (biology, psychology and computer science) research activities. He has received multiple research grants at such levels as college, university, and state. In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Guo has been serving as a member of editorial board (e.g., International Journal of Health Information Systems and Informatics) and a peer reviewer for multiple academic journals (e.g., European Journal of Information Systems) and international conferences (e.g., ICIS and AMCIS). Dr. Guo received his doctorate in Business Information Systems from Mississippi State University. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Guo spent several years as a management/technology consultant at Fiyta Holdings Ltd (Shenzhen, China), ServCom (Rockford, IL), and Philips Advance (Chicago, IL). Dr. Guo is an external consultant at JDArray Co. Ltd (Beijing, China), where he leads projects exploring oversea markets. |
