More than 430 Mens Masters players ascended on the Townsville Hockey Association for the traditional May Long Weekend State Championships. The tournament was professional run by the team at THA who put on a great show for the Masters Men and an enjoyable event was held by all. 29 teams from across the state competed in the 34, 45 and 55 age divisions with the following teams coming out victors on the final day
34 Division 1 - Townsville Blue
34 Division 2 - Gold coast
45 Division 1 - Townsville
45 Division 2 - Gold Coast / Cairns
55 Division 1 - Gold Coast
55 Division 2 - Sunshine coast / Cairns
Special thanks to the wonder volunteers from THA, TD Paul Hardie, TM Karen Fechner and UM Chriss Leeder and to all the TOs and Umpires who made the event such a wonderful success.
