Financial Aid Options

The average student aid grant is approximately 52% of tuition.

  • Need-Based
  • "Need Blind"

Financial aid is available on the basis of demonstrated need.

All aid is provided on an annually renewable basis. Students receiving aid must maintain an acceptable academic rating and conduct record.

This year $4,812,000 in need-based financial aid will be awarded to over 370 students, approximately 30 percent of the student body. $465,000 in Merit scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants who not only achieve high marks academically but also demonstrate high achievement in co-curriculars at school and their community.

Freshman Applications

  • Available: November 1, 2023
  • Deadline for submission: January 27, 2024

Returning Student Applications

  • Available: February 1, 2024
  • Deadline for submission: May 20, 2024

Our admissions process is “need-blind”. This means that the admissions committee is not aware of who has applied for financial aid when evaluating applicants, so that it cannot affect the outcome of a young man’s application.

The Financial Aid Office is committed to assisting qualified applicants, so financial status should not dissuade any outstanding young man from applying.

At Loyola, every effort is made to extend the financial assistance necessary to allow all qualified students the opportunity to attend Loyola High.

All students receive assistance as tuition and fees only cover 80.9 percent of the year’s operating budget, which does not include capital expenditures or financial aid. • Financial aid is available on an annually renewable basis.
  • Applications available online after: November 1, 2023.
